I'm content with this one more than any of the others I've been doing (so far!). He's been patient with me since day 1, so I wanted to make it perfect for him. (Good things come to those who wait!)

I added that texture in Photoshop however. None of the others looked good with it, and this one was too cool to leave totally blank.

I've added his story that goes along with the image- the characters (Unchainer & Kichi) are (c) him and his friend.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unchainer shot a bullet from her revolver at the head of one of the Rikti that had touched down in front of her. The bullet bounced harmlessly off of the alien’s metallic head. Unchainer took a few steps back as the ground shook lightly. Close by, a Rikti bomb landed on the ground with a large thud.

Kichi’s flaming katana sliced a Rikti soldier clear in half, as she spun around, decapitating the head of another. She took two steps back and looked up to survey the area, seeing a drop ship in the distance, standing out in the dark green sky. The sound of Rikti teleporting on to the ground rang in the air, but was quickly silenced by a loud explosion nearby.

Unchainer looked to the ticking bomb besides her and began to run. She only took a few steps before it exploded, the force of it sending her flying into the distance.

A Rikti soldier appeared besides Kichi, brandishing a large sword. It swung down, but Kichi blocked it with her katana, then slashed the alien’s arm off. Two more Rikti appeared as Kichi took a few steps back, appraising the situation.

Unchainer landed in the area behind Kichi, the sound of her landing covered by the bombing in the distance. She quickly stood up as three Rikti appeared close to her. Unchainer took two steps back, before feeling something behind her.

Kichi and Unchainer both glanced out of the corner of their eyes to see the other. Instantly, the bombings, the Rikti soldiers, everything melted away for them. The Rikti didn’t matter anymore. All that mattered now was their mutual feeling of ire for the other.

Unchainer clenched her gun, just as the fire on Kichi's sword rose in hatred. Perhaps this will be the day the two cursed women finally end this life long battle. Only time will tell.

Awesome stuff, it looks very professional. The lineart is almost flawless (sword wobbles in one place, fine otherwise) and the coloring is impeccable. Great job!

I'm just totally wowed by this pic. If I had one minor gripe, though, it would be that the girl on my left (Unchainer?) seems to have a very bumpy stomach. Yes, I realize, "abs," but something's overdone about this one.

Still, I'm totally wowed.

Haha, the unchainer chick looks almost exactly like how I wanted my character Nami to look early last year XD
Stupid inability to draw stuff the way I wanted :shakefist:

I like this pic. :) Angry women-types make me happy.

So cool! Do you use brushes as well as markers to eliminate marker strokes in some areas?

I use the brush end of the marker in general- and I just go over them to blend them with a lighter/pale color. On paper it looks blended more, but when it's scanned, you can always see it all. =(

I don't know looks pretty well blended in most areas to me...Some of te best marker blending I've ever seen in fact. There were only one or two areas where I could see marker strokes and that's actually a good thing I think, because otherwise I would have though it was digitally colored. Again, great stuff! :w00t:
