I haven't finished something for myself in a while, eh?
Perhaps my trip to Canada will get me in track...
For now- here's a venting piece (which I have not done in a while).
While others turn on thier TV on Monday morning to sit and view the "reinactment"-
I'll sit and think how most of the time my mind reinacts it already.
I ask that you pay no mind to the media... and just give a moment of your thought to those lost on9/11,and to the broken hearted families.
so this goes without saying-
Dedicated to my older sister and the others lost on 9-11.

You know I just managed to finally think of a way to find your profile. I've read your comic many years ago (it was one of few that inspired me plenty) ('05/06 ?) and have been, for the last few weeks, wondering how you're doing now But I forgot about the name of the comic, the character and your name as well :/ Then I remembered this piece you did in dedication of your sister, which is simply one of those pieces that you just never really forget about. So I searched "9 11"! And here you are! Ah am teh happeh and shall also be sniffing out your gallery ferociously >83
Well, thank you for taking the time to search for me. It means a lot when someone actually remembers artwork and it's creator. <3 It means a lot and I'm glad you're here!
Having seen your DD for 2010, I initially dismissed it as patriotism. Then I read the back-story, and looked at the others. Not only is your artwork gorgeous (and thoroughly deserving of a DD), but the emotions behind them are the most potent I've ever experienced from an artwork. My heart goes out to you for your loss, even if it's something I could never understand.
Thank you for taking a moment to read the actual artist comments. I can't say.. I'm the most patriotic person, but I was effected and because of that, I am in a way.. binded to my country because of it. I'm glad I could share my feelings with you.
Just as the rest of your dedicated pieces, this picture is very touching and I love the composition.
PS: I don't mean this in any disrespect, but this piece reminds me of Ghost in the Shell; in that this representation of your sister is very reminiscent of the Major.
Thank you, I'm not all that knowledgeable about Ghost in the Shell, so I may not understand but your thoughts are always welcomed, especially when brought on so politely. Thank you for that.
I dont know if I ant them to rebuild around that area, they should just make a memorial sight and stuff. Wouldnt that mean more to people? Victims are always in my hearts.

I understand what you mean about the patriotism.

I hope you feel better... I bet she's watching over you now. You'll be ok...
my heart certainly does go out to you, your family, and all of those that were lost, and their families on that horrible day in our history.
