I am actually trying to be nice to... people on DA lately. I figure, if I want people to like my art, they might as well like ME too. I'm quite sure there are many people who don't like me, but like my art- so it kinda turns them away.
This doesn't mean I won't be out spoken of course. I'm still being myself, just.... less of a Betch.
After that whole Bleedman bullshit, I'm kinda like "well, gosh." The drama is just drull and right now, so is this cough. My real nature IS to be nice and understanding, never holding grudges, etc. I can get grumpy and out-spoken, but never has anyone in real life ever told me I'm a bitch. To be honest... people actually walk all over me. I guess that is the whole "Being more tough" on the internet thing.
Ideas?
As always, check out my blog for nicer rants and doodles- please:

"So much darkness in the world, so much darkness, Francis. No light. Only darkness. And there is always someone who will take it upon himself. Always. Always. Always. I have become evil, but once I, too, was good..."
I dunno about most people, but if I can't stand someone even if their art is amazing I can't watch them. I've stopped watching a couple people lately because they're just plain bitchy and whiny.
I adore your art and I'm always around in one way or another if ever you're bored. Maybe we have something other than loving to draw in common? XD

You're probably tired of hearing this by now, but, is there any chance we can stop so I can find some pants?
Think about whether you want to carry the burden of being nice. I mean, if it is in your nature to be slightly bitchy (or more so).
My policy is usually to be kind, nice, sweet and polite. Mostly because I feel that the world is ugly enough even without me making it worse for others. But during the past year, I realized people tend to use me for it, not to mention that I have been accused of being too sweet, fake and sugar-coated.
People are never happy, and never pleased. That is why there will always be those who will not like your way of doing things, no matter whether you are being sweet, bitchy, or somewhere in between.
(Though I do have to admit that I personally prefer being nice.)

You might find after a time, that having is not nearly as fine a thing as wanting. (Spock)

I haven't any problems with you, in fact found you very aproachable. (Thats nice to say the least) >
But I can imagine that people do feel intimidated by you due to your work.

I mean, Bleedman's from the Phillipines. The youngsters are viewed rather differently in that culture, and the things that are acceptable or simply swept under the rug are not the same back in the US of A.

Don't worry. I'll promise to be better before I just make the same mistake again, just like I always do.
That means I am dependable, and that's a good thing!
The internet is a type of virus infecting people. They think "Well they cant do anything to me" and act like ingrates at times and worse. Ignore them and just be who you are, alot of people like you that way.
Screw bleedman and his "fake" friends. Alot of them like him only cause of his art and act like a bunch of guard dogs which does nothing.
You may not consider me or others as friends do to not knowing us well enough but we are pretty nice...acquaintances?
Just keep the snark

No hay igual.
We are all people who have our own opinions and we are completely entitled to them. His crazy rabid followers sort of remind me of this whole Twilight thing going around, too. I wish I had some articles on hand, but I don't, but some of Smeyer's crazy fans have actually attacked people who didn't like the book, simply because... well, they didn't like it.
Having opinions doesn't make you a mean person.
Chin up, m'dearh!
